Western Festival Provides Entertainment
from Local Community Groups

The Elk Grove Western Festival, a more than sixty-year-old tradition, has always included performances by local community groups.

This festival is a unique part of Elk Grove’s heritage and it is exciting to provide a venue for local community groups to perform,” says previous entertainment co-director Angela Edwards. Stepping up community awareness and involvement; festival directors are excited about their expansion. The Western Festival has always had strong community ties.

Dust in My Coffee is simply a cowboy band capturing the spirit of the North American West. The band performs and writes original songs that express many of their own experiences. The lead singer/song writer is a cowboy who shares his vision of the folklore and western way of life through his music. Dust in My Coffee offers a fresh sound of traditional western music blended with Celtic flavor, enhancing the roots of a genre long forgotten. If you are searching for the Old West and the real cowboy life, this band will feed your hunger.

Hailing from Sacramento California, Jazz Artistry is dedicated to creating new and exciting Jazz music while preserving the jazz heritage. Available for clubs, private parties, and corporate events we perform original works as well a wide variety of swing, latin, bebop, and modern jazz music. Jazz is the music of spontaneous creativity. It is where invention, excitement, joy, and discovery all meet. It enhances every place where people gather and adds to any experience. It is truly an American art form.

The award-winning Rachel Steele has just added to her resume of musical accomplishments with the premiere of her debut EP “Stupid Love.” Recorded and produced in Nashville with country music great Bobby Randall, this marks Rachel’s first nationally released music and makes her a serious contender in the growing landscape of Country Music artists.

While the Sacramento singer/songwriter kicked off 2018 with the release of her 6-track EP “Stupid Love,” Rachel is also planning to drop her debut music video, ‘Here to Get My Stuff,’ the lead track for “Stupid Love” later this spring. May 9th will be the official release date of her single, “Here To Get My Stuff”, nationally with a radio tour in the works for mid-summer.
